(Zechariah 12:9-10) Deep sorrow, joy and victory follows when one sees the Savior. This mourning described is a depiction of repentance during a time of separation. A time of all bearing responsibility for his/her sins that led to the cross. Only a clear view of the crucified Christ can give a proper understanding of the devastating effects of sin and only then will victory follow.
(Zechariah 8:20-23) Many people are looking at the end times as a reason to isolate and insulate themselves. Frustrated about the times while failing to take advantage of a weapon that God has provided. We cannot underestimate the power of prayer during these times, God will do great things in response to prayer if only we take the words of the prophet by saying, “I Will Go Also.”
(Zechariah 13:1) It is only through the refining fire of afflictions that we gain the privilege of bearing the identity of God’s people. The purpose of the furnace is to inspire us and to instill in us a life of prayer that leads us to take ownership of the Lord who takes ownership of the afflicted.
(Zechariah 12:1-3) In a moment of uncertainty for God’s church. In a moment where the entire world gathers against God’s people. He the Lord of Hosts promises to add weight by making His church a heavy stone. An immovable object. The church becomes an immovable object only when God is allowed to make it so. We become steadfast in our faith only when we allow God to make us steadfast.
(Zechariah 10:1) The children of Israel were not only to rebuild the temple during a time of desolation. They were also to add to their building the act of asking. It is not enough to build up the house of the Lord with our might or power, we should make it our priority to pray for the Holy Spirit.
(Zechariah 3:1-5) When Satan opposes God’s people what matters most is not what we know about God but what God knows about us. God’s vote of confidence keeps the accuser in His place.
