Message Series
The Rise of the Reformation
During this reformation emphasis month, we look back with great appreciation for what God has done in the lives of mighty men such as Martin Luther, John Huss, and John Calvin to understand what they found in Scripture that guided their lives and doctrines. There is no doubt that what God has done during the Reformation has a significant impact on all of us today.
Week of Prayer 2021
This unique time of separation provides for us a wonderful opportunity to live a more impactful and purposeful life. The book of Zechariah calls us in this day to both corporate and individual repentance, and reflection upon our Savior who died for our sins. In this time of separation, we are called to pray for and with each other as a result of seeing Him who died. Be inspired and encouraged by the powerful and relevant truths found in the book of Zechariah.
Dealing with Emotions
2020 has indeed been a challenging year for many. The many circumstances have taken a toll on our emotions, come to think of it. We have braved the pandemic’s effects on our world, country, community, and churches. Yet, what has been the effects upon us as Christians? We have been angry, disappointed, discontent, discouraged in many cases, depressed.
How do we make our way out of these feelings? How do we process the challenges we face around us? In this series, we look at two stories in the Old Testament and one in the New, which provide powerful insight and hope for us, who seek to get beyond the negative emotions we face.
Wise Words
There have been many attempts to describe two thousand and twenty so far, and each attempt concludes that this year is a challenging one. Speaking to the real Christian, James writes in a sound, pointed, and practical manner about true wisdom, faith, and practice for followers of Christ. There is no doubt that the book of James applies to our time. Let us turn down the world’s volume and listen to God’s wisdom as we traverse through the book of James and listen to His Wise Words.
Because of One
Jesus is all about taking quick action when it comes to restoring people. One person is enough to expend heavens resources to redeem, and this is what Jesus emphasizes in a series of parables found in Luke chapters fifteen and sixteen. Join us on a journey of discovering why you matter to Christ and why He calls you to show that others matter to Him. This series will inspire and challenge you to commit to seeing the value of every individual.
Good News
With all the bad news circulating in our world today, we decided to take a journey into a more trustworthy and reliable source, the burden of Mark’s gospel is good news. According to Mark, the good news is that everything humanity faced outside of their ability to control. Jesus demonstrates control over such as; calming the storm, healing the sick. Jesus cleansed Leprosy, and He spoke the truth. Yet the most important news of all, Our Lord paid the price for sin.
