God We Need To Talk

Have you ever read a passage in Scripture and wondered, how does this make sense? Or wondered where, why, and how this connects with the story of redemption? This weekend we will take a closer look at a few of those instances in Scripture and apply the microscope of faith to see the beauty of God’s intricate work behind the scenes.

Delthony L. Gordon is a husband, father, author and pastor with a professional career spanning twenty-two years. As a second-career minister for the past 10 years, he is a former high school Math, Physics and Computer Science teacher, and assistant Guidance Counselor. For the last 18½ years, he has been happily married to the lovely Esther Gordon (formerly Hanna), and the union has produced 2 children – Jonathan (16½) and Hadassah (6). Esther spent almost 12 years in banking before spending the next 8 as a homeschool mom, and has recently become the Administrative Assistant for the Treasury Department of the Ohio Conference. Pastor Gordon is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist church and pastors the Beavercreek Church in Dayton Ohio. He enjoys spending time with his family, preaching, teaching, singing (especially with his wife), biking, and playing table/board or trivia games. By God’s grace, he will make it into the kingdom with as many souls as God will use him to reach.
